Certificate Program in Maintenance Engineering

Maintenance Engineers program is designed for busy professionals involved in the supervision of engineering and maintenance activities who are not able to attend the AIB Maintenance Engineering resident course. This program is divided into the following steps:
• Electrical Motor Controls Seminar
• Hands-On Programmable Controllers Seminar
• Refrigeration Technology Seminar
• Maintenance Management Seminar
• Maintenance Engineering Correspondence Course
The Electrical Motor Controls, Hands-On Programmable Controllers and Refrigeration Technology seminars are offered several times each year in consecutive weeks. The Maintenance Management course is offered twice each year. The courses can be taken out of order if necessary. As a reward for signing up for the Certified Maintenance Technician program you will receive a $400 discount off the tuition of the last seminar you take. The program should be completed within three years of enrollment.
The program participant will learn electrical safety, how to interpret schematics, wiring of motor controls, basic programming of logic controllers, terminology of equipment design, the proper handling procedures for refrigerants, equipment troubleshooting tips, communication skills, and management of people, parts, and equipment.
You must complete an Enrollment Agreement to be admitted into the Certified Maintenance Technician Program. You must enroll separately in the correspondence course and in each seminar required to complete the Certified Program.
