Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership
The Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership degree equips students with the knowledge, skill and character crucial to leadership positions in church and faith-based organizations. The program begins with a Biblical, foundation established in 30 hours of core Bible courses. The Bible core includes classes that cover all the books of the Old and New Testament. Students will also take two theology classes that explore some of the basic doctrines found within the teachings of these books.
After completing core Bible courses students will be able to begin the Bachelor of Science in Ministry Leadership major classes. These major classes will teach students how to be both a leader and a teacher. They will learn principles of management such as organizing, planning, making decisions and supervising; and on the human relations side of ministry, also will learn how to network with other Christian ministries, how to construct an effective ministerial team, and how to deal with change and conflict that may arise from societal changes, technology, the economy, and generational differences.
