Formerly South Central College was known as South Central Technical College. SCC operates campuses in Faribault and North Mankato. South Central College provides comprehensive higher education for employment and continuous learning to promote individual growth and economic development. It is the newest comprehensive technical and community college in Minnesota.

The college enjoys established partnerships with regional businesses and industries. This provides great opportunities for student employment and internships. South Central College has a growing online presence and offers fully accredited courses and programs taught by the college’s highly qualified faculty. Students can complete some Associate of Applied Science and Certificate degrees through online learning. Online programs and courses are offered in South Central College are fully accredited. Moreover courses may be combined with face-to-face courses toward a degree at South Central College.

The college offers students more choices, unlimited opportunities and better value. Financial aid forms are FAFSA and Institution’s own financial aid form. The college foundations provide more than $250,000 in student scholarships annually, including full-tuition Presidential Scholarships for high school seniors demonstrating leadership skills while maintaining a 3.75 or greater grade point average.
