Masters Degree in Accounting

This online graduate degree prepares those with an undergraduate degree in business for a career in the public accounting profession. It is a 36-credit graduate program intended to prepare people with an undergraduate degree in business, or those who have successfully completed the equivalent undergraduate foundation in business, for a career in the public accounting profession. This program prepares future certified public accountants (CPAs) to exercise their developed technical competence and interpersonal skills with integrity. This integrated interdisciplinary Master of Accountancy curriculum includes course work in Ethics, Leadership and Accounting toward preparing its graduates for the next level in their career. The Master of Accountancy program also satisfies the widely adopted 150-hour educational requirement for certification and licensure as a CPA. Courses are 10-week cyber classes offered in 5-terms each year. An interdisciplinary is available in Accounting, Ethics and Leadership. The program is a fully integrative curriculum which develops the student's knowledge through strategic perspective, critical thinking skills, and interpersonal skills.
