National Technological University has become the NTU School of Engineering and Applied Science at Walden University. Once all the provisions of the merger are fully implemented, NTU will become part of a comprehensive university offering baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees. The NTU School will immediately begin planning the offering of bachelor's and bachelor's completion programs for technology professionals. In addition, the NTU School will begin plans to design doctoral-level programs in several degree areas. The NTU School will focus its efforts in the computing disciplines and areas of electrical engineering and business; expand its partnerships with outstanding faculty; dedicate substantial additional resources to the development of new courses and curricula; reduce overheads; and pass on a variety of benefits and savings once the merge is complete. New students will see a commitment to an even higher level of quality in all of their courses.
