Certificate Program in Continuing Education
Approved Continuing Education professionally approved, individual media-based courses provide contact hours for the following Health Care Professionals: all nurses, dietitians, licensed nutritionists, certified health educators, certified personal and fitness trainers, therapeutic massage therapists and body workers, social workers, licensed chiropractors and acupuncturists.
Each independent educational activity carries a minimum of eight to a maximum of fourteen contact hours. You will receive a two-hour instructional videotape, assigned textbook and 8 contact hour credits per continuing education unit. The requirements for successful completion of a continuing education unit include: Viewing the DVD class; Completing the assigned reading; Developing an essay response; Returning the essay with the completed evaluation form.
