Founded in 1966, Bellevue Community College has evolved in the largest community college in the nation and the second largest higher educational institution in Washington state. BBC has two campuses in Bellevue, Washington and 25 additional sites throughout the community where Continuing Education courses are offered. Main campus is comprised of 11 educational buildings.

Academics
Bellevue Community College offers a number of degrees and certificates in numerous academic fields:
•    Bachelor of Applied Science
•    Associate degrees, which can be transferred to other educational institution awarding Bachelor degrees
•    Professional and technical associate degrees and/or certificates in such areas as health science, information technology, business and design
•    Career-training certificate programs in Microsoft technology, business, health professions, technical communication, translation & interpretation and art, through our Continuing Education division
•    Developmental programs in Adult Basic Education and English as a Second Language

Distance learning opportunities include the possibility of earning a degree completely online, combining online and on-campus courses, enrolling for the hybrid classes, and taking continuing education courses at one of the 25 sites in the community.

Degrees available completely online include the Associate in Arts and Sciences, Associate in Business, and Associate in Arts in General Studies. Moreover, the college offers online Bachelor degree programs in partnership with Edmonds Community College and Washington State University: B.A. in Business Administration, B.A. in Social Sciences, B.A. in Humanities, B.A. in Criminal Justice, and more.

Bellevue Community College is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available for students to support their studying and help them cover partially or completely the costs of their education. The major types of financial aid at BCC include grants, loans, student employment/work study, and scholarships.
