Allied Health Institute (AHI) offers online education opportunities for students to pursue their educational objectives when attending school in a traditional classroom is not practical. At Allied Health Institute the courses are web-based and designed by qualified faculty. Students interact with their instructor and each other utilizing cutting edge technology.
Online courses include: Audio/Visual Presentation, Chatrooms, Discussion Boards, Electronic Library, E-mail, Gradebook Access, Help Desk, Online testing, Orientation.
Allied Health Institute offers a unique and flexible learning experience that allows students to enroll at any time of the year. The online education at AHI permits the students to maintain flexible scheduling to meet their individual needs. All of diploma programs can be completed in ten months or less.
By utilizing the internet, students have the flexibility to earn a diploma that allows them to enter the workforce or change careers from the convenience of their own home. Students will receive online support from instructors, peers and student services through faxes, phone, virtual classroom, email and newsletters.
Admission
Admission to the Institute is based on an entrance examination evaluation. Applicants are accepted and are placed in their programs based on a first come, first served basis. Applicants under the age of 18 may be admitted provided they will be 18 years old by the scheduled start date of their externship/clinical. A parent, legal guardian or spouse of legal age is required to co-sign the enrollment agreement.
Financial Aid
AHI offers a variety of tuition plans through private student loans, scholarships and grants for those who qualify. Although every student in an eligible program may apply for financial aid, the amount and type of aid that may be available will be dependent upon the financial need of the student. Allied Health Institute uses nationally standardized procedures for determining the financial need of each student.
