Graduation tests can provide an important and sufficient information for students and educators concerning the student knowledge, skills and areas for improvement. The graduation tests help to identify students who need additional instruction in skills required for a diploma. The examination is a standardized test that is an admissions requirement for many graduate schools in the United States  and in other English-speaking countries. The standard exit exam contains two main sections: English and mathematics. These basic subjects are constantly tested throughout students' academic careers.
