West Hills Community College ensures the vitality of its institutions; encourages the vision of strong leaders able to see and interpret the present and future needs of students and communities.
West Hills Community College actively engages, encourages, enriches and empowers students, faculty, staff and the communities it serves to reach their full potential (academically, socially and economically) as evidenced by its status as the preferred choice of students, and the employer of choice for faculty and staff; the highest percentage of students completing courses; its recognized excellence and the generally ascribed accolade, "heartbeat of the community."
West Hills Community College allows you to earn your degree online. We offer courses and two-year degrees that are available entirely online. These degrees are in Administration of Justice-Law Enforcement, Liberal Arts, Psychology and Social Science.
The flexibility of Online Courses can provide you with a two-year college education that is transferable to a California State University, University of California campus or private college of your choice.
Financial aid is available at the College. West Hills College offers a variety of local and institutional scholarships and maintains applications for outside scholarships. Awards are based on scholastic achievement, selected major, citizenship, leadership, and/or need. And scholarships are offered through the generosity of citizens and civic groups in the West Hills Community College District and surrounding area. Criteria will vary for each scholarship.
