University of the Rockies was founded in 1998 as the Colorado School of Professional Psychology.

University of the Rockies (UoR) is a private, independent graduate school offering Master of Arts in Psychology and Doctor of Psychology degrees. University of the Rockies is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association (NCA).
