The Tennessee Technology Centers consist of twenty-seven centers statewide authorized by legislation enacted by the 1964 Tennessee General Assembly.

The Centers offer programs that are designed to prepare individuals for employment in the world of work, either by providing new skills or by developing previous skills. They also make a significant contribution to the student's intellectual and social development. Our administration and instructional staff consist of skilled and knowledgeable personnel who are competent in an occupational field, as well as being proficient instructors.

These Technology Centers are the premier providers for workforce development. They provide state-of-the-art technical training for workers to obtain technical skills and professional training necessary for advancement. The Centers are pleased to be a part of the Regents Online Degree Program by offering online certificates and diploma programs.

Students are able to apply for admission and register online to the TTC of their choice. The Centers are committed to provide competency-based training through traditional and distance learning instructional delivery systems of the highest quality that will qualify individuals for employment and/or advancement in jobs.
 
The main goal of Tennessee Technology Centers is to provide high quality training and retraining of employed workers. Providing high quality training that is economical and accessible to all residents of Tennessee, they contribute to the economic and community development of the communities we serve.
