Founded in 1885, St. Edward’s University is a diverse, nationally recognized liberal arts institution that emphasizes critical thinking, social justice and ethical practice. It was founded by Father Edward Sorin, CSC, a member of the Congregation of Holy Cross. The University combines a rich, Catholic heritage with a clear vision for the future.
