The college takes part in a range of federal and state student financial aid programs. The financial assistance programs are intended to offer support to students who are presently enrolled or accepted for enrollment, but whose financial resources are insufficient to meet the entire cost of their tuition.
Students have to be enrolled and attend no less than six quarter credits to qualify for financial assistance and have to maintain suitable educational progress as defined in Southwest Florida College's catalog. Southwest Florida College encourages the students to apply for financial assistance well in advance of registration for classes to have enough time for application processing.
