Southeast Community College (SCC) is a community college system located in the southeast portion of the U.S. state of Nebraska. The college includes three campuses. The campuses are located in the following cities: Lincoln, Beatrice and Milford state of Nebraska. And there are more than 20 off-campus sites in 15 countries. Southeast Community College is located in the state capital of Nebraska. It enrolls more than 7000 full and part time students in career/ technical and Academic Transfer programs. Career/technical program areas include Laboratory Science Technology, Construction, Business, Electronic/Computer, Family & Consumer Science, Mass Media/Communication, Health, Manufacturing, and Transportation.
The main goal of the college is to promote recruitment and retention; promote student learning through the provision of quality instruction and curriculum.
Southeast Community College values the opportunity to provide quality career/technical and academic educational opportunities for the students, communities and businesses of the district. The school provides distance learning courses and academic and vocational programs in different fields of study via the Internet.
Continuing Education is also offered through online classes and video conferences. There are many classes that apply toward professional license requirements and a variety of video conferencing and satellite link options available. Numerous online training and distance learning options are available, including hundreds of online professional development classes. SCC also offers distance learning for 115 courses via the web.
Southeast Community College Area’s sports teams are nicknamed the Storms. The college has , volleyball, basketball, golf, softball and baseball teams. Each campus of the college also has its own wellness center and gym.
