Seminole Community College, or shortly is SCC, is a community college with four campuses throughout Seminole County, Florida. They are Altamonte Springs Campus, Oviedo Campus, Sanford/ Lake Mary Campus and The Center for Economic Development at Heathrow.

The Florida State Legislature created Seminole Junior College on July 1, 1965. Later on July 1, 1975 Seminole Junior College became Seminole Community College.

Seminole Community College offers Associate degrees. It offers Associate in Science and Associate in Arts degrees, specialized career certificates, adult education, continuing professional education, English for academic purposes courses and a Language Institute. Also SCC offers a wide variety of degree and certificate programs to meet even the most unique needs.  Students can select from traditional year-round classes, cooperative education opportunities and distance learning courses. Day, evening and weekend classes are offered at three locations. Moreover the college offers more than 100 majors and several academically advanced programs including the Art and Phyllis Grindle Honors Institute. Many of SCC's courses and degrees will transfer directly to Florida's public colleges and universities. That is why you can continue your education. Some of programs even prepare students to enter the work force immediately upon completion.

Seminole Community College (SCC) is accredited by the Southern Association of College and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCC). The school is state accredited.
