Robert Morris University was founded in 1921. The school was named for Robert Morris, who signed the Declaration of Independence, and helped finance the ensuing war with the British.
Robert Morris is committed to equipping its students with a transformational experience. It is aimed to provide participants with an environment that promotes engaged learning, and the opportunities to expand their worlds with numerous and varied study abroad programs.
The faculty members are professionals in their fields and in the classroom and they work hard to create a community where students can flourish and are treated as individuals. And, when the time comes for them to leave and make their own ways in the world, the graduates will have as their foundation an education that taught them that learning never ends and encouraged them to think, to ask questions and explore.
And at RMU, individuals will get a private university education that is still one of the most affordable in Pennsylvania.
