Park University is an independent, private institution of higher education in Parkville, Missouri, United States. It was founded in 1875 as a small church-related Midwestern college that has now expanded into an electronic learning institution and provider of education courses for the U.S. military. In 2000, it was renamed to Park University. The university has over 40 campuses in more than 20 states.
The university offers a wide variety of degrees and programs through the following academic divisions: College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, Graduate School, Hauptmann School, School for Education, School for Extended Learning and School of Business & Management.
Park University provides quality degree programs at various locations, times and delivery formats that best serve the students' needs. Students have the option of face-to-face or online courses in the 16-week format or accelerated eight-week format. The University also offers two 16-week semesters per year, which primarily include face-to-face courses.
The main goal of Park University’s Online Learning Programs is to offer students access to a quality education through convenient, affordable online degree programs. Our Online courses are interactive, student centered, and are taught by highly qualified, experienced faculty. Online classes are scheduled in accelerated, eight-week terms that start five times each year: January, March, June, August & October.
Newly Park University began offering some of its master's degrees and certificate programs through online delivery also. Instructors and program developers involved in delivering these dynamic and expanding educational opportunities are required to complete Online training courses prior to delivery.
Graduate students enrolling at Park University can complete their degrees in traditional classes, in online classes, or by combining traditional and online classes in a manner that suits their needs and enhances their educational experiences.
Park University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
