Founded in 1826, Mississippi College is the oldest institution of higher learning and the largest private university in the Mississippi State. Mississippi College stimulates the intellectual development of its students through the liberal arts and sciences and concentrated study in specialized fields. Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities enhances student growth by advising student groups, promoting campus involvement, and developing programs which encourage co-curricular learning. Together with the Campus Activities Board, the Office of Student Activities works to provide a lively campus atmosphere and give students ample opportunities to connect socially.

Financial Aid
The goal of any award or scholarship is to recognize outstanding academic achievement, service in the community, and leadership skills. In addition to these factors some students may demonstrate that they have financial need. Mississippi College seeks to address all of these factors when making scholarship decisions. Mississippi College's Office of Financial Aid administers a variety of loan programs for students who need financial assistance. Often a part of a financial aid package, loans provide students with an opportunity to invest in their future, typically at interest rates lower than those on the commercial market. Students at Mississippi College who borrow wisely are acquiring marketable skills which will enable them to repay their loans.
