Established in 1847, Midway College is a private college that serves the larger community by educating women intellectually, ethically, and spiritually to be productive participants in society, responsible citizens in a democracy, and conservators and reformers of the best elements of their culture. It further seeks to assist both women and men who are employed and of non-traditional college age to earn undergraduate degrees in the degree completion programs available through the School for Career Development and Midway College Online.
Midway College Online provides private, liberal arts education to its students anytime, anywhere. The College strives to meet the needs of online learners by offering accelerated degree completion programs of the highest quality, in a manner convenient to any lifestyle. it allows students to complete degrees in 18-24 months but only with prior college credit.
Midway College enhances the communication skills, analytical perspectives, and critical thinking abilities, of all students; provides advising for students so that they meet their academic goals and upon request assist with their personal needs.

Financial AidMidway College offers financial aid for all students who needs it. Students may submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to considered for grants (federal and state), Workstudy, Federal Stafford Loans, and Federal PLUS Loans. Some types of financial aid are only for full-time students; but, a minimum of six (6) credit hours is required to qualify for Federal Student Loans. Moreover, if students qualify for a Federal Pell Grant, they may take as few as three (3) credit hours and still qualify for assistance. All federal financial aid and scholarships awarded through Midway College are applied directly to students' billing at the beginning of each semester.
