LA College has been providing a quality education from 1981.At first the school focused on courses that prepared students for data processing and computer skills. In 2006, however, the American Way Education, LLC acquired the facility and added several courses and online degree programs for students from all over the world.

We strive to accomplish this through our commitment to professional education and superior student services in our online and on-campus programs. LA College International uses a student-centered approach to learning. Online classes feature interactive educational studies specifically designed for busy working students. The curriculum is flexible and convenient, allowing students to choose when they attend class. Most of the programs run 18 months, teaching fundamentals with different emphases depending on the program.

 Financial Aid includes:
- veterans assistance and vocational rehabilitation
- corporate reimbursement or direct bill
- cash payment plans
- grants
- loans
- federal work-study
- scholarships

Two different grant programs are available if students qualify. The Pell Grant and the Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG) are grants based on student's financial need; they are not loans. The SEOG is limited, and is awarded during each federal program year until the funds are depleted. Stafford loans are available through banks, credit unions, and savings and loan institutions at low rates. LA College is proud to work with a variety of lenders who participate in the PLUS loan program. PLUS loans are low interest loans for parents who wish to participate in financing their child's education. Contrary to popular belief, PLUS loans are not contingent upon credit score alone.
