Kapiolani Community College is a public, co-educational commuter college in Honolulu, Hawaii. Formerly known as Kapiolani Technical School, the College is one of ten branches of the University of Hawaii system anchored by the University of Hawaii at Mānoa.
Kapiolani Community College is located in Honolulu, Hawaii. It was established in 1946 as Kapiolani Technical College and was administered by the Territory of Hawaii as one of its chief vocational schools, specializing in food service. In 1965, its curricula was modified and became an open-door public college administered by the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. The school adopted its current name as part of the realignment of programs.

Students are eligible to apply this College if they are 18 years of age or older, or have earned a high school diploma or equivalency. If individuals apply or submit their required documents after the close of the application period, their application will be considered on a space available basis.
