Inver Hills Community College is fully accredited by the Higher Education Commission as an online provider of the Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree, the Building Inspection Technology A.A.S. degree and certificates, the Human Services A.S. degree and certificates, the Criminal Justice A.S. degree and law enforcement certificate. Moreover, the College offers three Business certificates online: Human Resource Management, Marketing and Sales, and Project Management.

Admission to Inver Hills Community College is granted without regard to race, creed, color, sex, age, national origin, or disability. But there is one general admission requirement for acceptance into the college - applicant must be a high school graduate or have earned a G.E.D. The College does not require entrance exams such as the ACT or SAT.
