Gratz College is a general college of Jewish studies that offers a broad array of credentials and programs in virtually every area of higher Judaic learning to aspiring Jewish educators, communal professionals, lay people and others seeking to become more knowledgeable of Judaism.
A wide variety of programs of excellence at the undergraduate, graduate professional, specialized certificate, diploma, continuing education, and pre-collegiate levels are offered at the College. Additional outreach programs, such as conferences, lectures, concerts, publication, exhibits, etc., promote Jewish culture in the community at large, through the dedicated efforts of its Netzky Division.
You may also earn you degree online as Gratz College has its virtual campus. The Gratz Online students live all over the United States and share a keen desire for Jewish learning.
Classes each semester are in Rabbinics, Bible, Jewish thought, Jewish history, contemporary Jewish studies, political science, Jewish education, Jewish early childhood education, and Jewish non-profit management. Some of our students are pursuing a degree for academic reasons; some are focused on gaining important credentials to further their career. And some of our students start slowly taking one or two courses the first semester to see if online study fits into their busy lives; others launch right in as full-time students.
Gratz College offers a wide variety of financial aid options for students. These include Federal and State financial aid programs, campus-based awards (scholarships and fellowships) and aid available from private sources.
