Grace College is an evangelical Christian community of higher education which applies biblical values in strengthening character, sharpening competence, and preparing for service. Grace Theological Seminary is a learning community dedicated to teaching, training, and transforming the whole person for local church and global ministry. They both are partners in higher education that offer unique educational experience through four schools, the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Ministry Studies, the School of Music, and the School of Adult and Community Education.
The main goal is to make Christ preeminent in all things. That’s why, the programs of the college are designed to encourage serious academic inquiry in an academic atmosphere devoted to excellence in scholarship, a biblical world-view, spiritual understanding, and social conscience—all in the context of God's grace.
College offers more than 50 fields of undergraduate studies, plus graduate degrees in ministry in the seminary, and graduate degrees in counseling, interpersonal relations, and education in the college. In 2008, Grace began offering unique cohort-based graduate degree programs in ministry and education online.
Grace Theological Seminary in 2008 began offering two graduate degree programs online that are designed for pastors, pastoral staff members, missionaries, and church or parachurch ministry leaders wanting to increase their knowledge and effectiveness through graduate study emphasizing practical ministry.
These degrees are blended programs and cohort-based, offering some on-campus instruction, with online studies enabling the student to complete course work over several weeks. But in addition to these two graduate degree programs from Grace Theological Seminary, Grace College is planning to offer two new graduate degrees, a Master of Science in Instructional Leadership and Master of Education in Instructional Leadership. Both of these master's degree programs currently are pending approval by the Indiana Department of Education and have a tentative start date of June 2009.
Grace enrolls students from 30 denominations and many non-denominational churches and is associated with The Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. It is committed to the classical and defining doctrines of historic Christianity and affirms the inerrancy of Scripture and the moral, spiritual, and historical authority of the Bible.
