Faulkner University’s facilities have grown from just a handful of buildings in 1965, to the fine campus it is today.
The University currently has four colleges: Alabama Christian College of Arts and Sciences; Harris College of Business and Executive Education; Thomas Goode Jones School of Law; V.P Black College of Biblical Studies.
The main campus is established in Montgomery, AL, a stone's throne away from Old Alabama Town and the heart of the African-American Civil Right's Movement, and we have campuses in Birmingham, Huntsville, and Mobile. Faulkner also conducts classes at corporate sites and National Guard armories.
Faulkner offers over 65 different degrees, including Bachelors, Masters, Juris Doctor, and Associates Degrees, as well as certificates of study.
All full-time students under the age of 21 who are not seniors, married, or who do not live with their parents are required to live in the dormitories. All on-campus students and any off-campus students who have classes ending before 10:00 AM are required to attend the school's daily chapel service in the Gymnasium at 10:00 AM.
Faulkner University is dedicated to maintaining a quality educational experience. Instructors are highly qualified in their disciplines, with over 70% of the faculty holding terminal degrees (and the number is rising). The belief that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant word of God is the founding principle of Faulkner University. Every subject is taught from a Christian perspective. Faulkner offers an exceptional academic education with the underlying foundation of the Christian worldview.
Ther University’s vibrant campus, small class size, and personal attention to each student allow the student to be guided to reach his/her full potential. Each administrator, faculty, and staff member strives to make each day a learning experience for the students on campus. The emphasis on the significance and importance of the individual is one of the keys to the Faulkner experience.
