Duluth Business University is a student-centered school where the needs of every student are a high priority. Through flexible class scheduling, a wide-ranging curriculum, and teachers committed to offering quality education, DBU graduates top students in the health, business, animal science and graphic design media areas.

Admissions
Duluth Business University admits as usual students those individuals having a certificate of graduation from a school providing secondary education or the recognized equivalent of such a certificate (GED) and who also meet program admission requirements.
Applicants who meet neither of those requirements but who want other education and are otherwise completely qualified may apply for admission to courses of study, which won’t lead to the awarding of a diploma or degree.
All applicants have to complete a pre-enrollment academic entrance examination, Career Programs Assessment Test (CPAT), and get minimum career program evaluation test scores.

Financial Aid
DBU is a qualified institution approved by the Department of Education for involvement in the following programs:
•    Federal Pell Grants
•    PLUS Program
•    Stafford Student Loans
•    Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants
•    Federal College Work-Study Program

Financial assistance is granted on the basis of financial need as established by the Pell Grant Formula and the Congressional Methodology determined by the U.S. Department of Education. All federal grants, loans, the Minnesota Grant Program, and the Minnesota College Work Study Program require submission of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for need examination.
