Since the establishment Dover Business College has been dedicated to preparing students to succeed in professional careers and in today's diverse global world by integrating liberal arts, professional competencies, ethical practices, and career-focused education. At Dover, students will get the same curriculum and faculty support that they would get in on-campus classes. Owing to online education students may save the headache and expense of commuting and have more time for family, work, and other social responsibilities.
Dover Business College offers students an education that balances academic preparation, professional training, and hands-on experience. Students are considered for admission on the basis of future promise and the motivation to succeed in a chosen profession. The basic requirements for admission are graduation from high school or equivalent (GED), and an entrance exam. A personal interview is strongly recommended. There are also special requirements for admission for High School applicants, adult applicants and transfer applicants.
All applicants are scheduled to meet with a financial aid administrator to develop a personalized plan to meet their educational expenses. Every year, aid applicants must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Dover Business College can assist its students with applications for the following:
Federal Pell Grant
Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan (FSL)
Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan (UFSL)
Federal Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (PLUS)
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG)
Scholarships and Awards
Dover Business College believes that job placement is as important as the academic program. The College maintains a Career Services and Placement Department staffed with professionals who provide career counseling and placement services to both students and graduates. The Placement Department assists graduates in locating employment throughout the United States, provides information on graduate placement and salaries.
