Dakota County Technical College (DCTC) is a public school with main campus located in Rosemount, Minnesota that reflects the intimacy of a small town with the networking and cultural advantages of a modern metropolitan area. The College strives to provide collegiate-level education for employment that will empower individuals to enhance their opportunities for career advancement and success in a global economy.
DCTC's mission is education for employment and, as a result, the college has a number of unique programs that have been created to help fill high-demand areas. Some of these programs include Railroad Conductor Technology, Nanoscience, Wood Finishing and Industrial Distribution.
It offers more than 50 academic programs at its main Rosemount campus plus its Partners in Higher Education site in Apple Valley and IT Training Center in Eagan.
The Office of Scholarships & Financial Aid shows students the money via financial aid, loans, scholarships and student employment. Students at DCTC can access a huge range of services and resources, including our Bookstore, Cafeteria, Career Services, Library, Wellness Center—and so much more.
Classes are available online, day, evening, or weekend and short-term training is available. The college also has a number of student organizations and an athletic department that includes wrestling, men's and women's soccer, baseball, and softball.
