Chaffey College is a two-year public community college situated in an area of natural and tranquil beauty in Southern California. The College was founded in 1883 as a private college. It has been a publicly funded college since1916 and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.

The College is a member of the American Association of Community Colleges, the Community College League of California, Service members Opportunity Colleges (SOC), and is approved by the Office of Private Post-Secondary Education for Veterans Benefits. It improves lives within the diverse communities it serves through equal access to quality, learning-centered occupational, transfer, general education, and foundation programs.

The college is currently undergoing landscaping, infrastructure repair, renovation and upgrades to existing buildings, as well as the construction of a new four-building science complex, student services building, and educational excellence center. The college remains open while undergoing construction, except for occasional diversions in traffic and parking.

Nowadays, with this wealth of tradition and experience, Chaffey is proud to continue providing excellent programming in an atmosphere conducive to learning.
