Capitol College is a truly exceptional school. In fact, I was offered several internships at several Intelligence Communities based, in part, on my curriculum from Capitol College. I have taken several online courses and few have come close to the experience I had with Capitol. For example, most online schools provide a very boring and less intuitive program than at Capitol; the majority of the work involves text material whereas Capitol, allows for an interactive environment where you directly communicate with the professor and students around the globe. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In fact, several have published best-selling books in the field of Information Assurance. I highly recommend this school to anyone that wants a quality education from a reasonably priced and well-respected college. I truly wish they offered the PhD online, I would enroll in a "heartbeat."

I began my education at Capitol College to get a handle on this new wave of Information Technology (IT). I had just completed my MBA and felt as though I still needed a solid foundation in IT to round out my background in management. The Capitol College curriculum caught my attention because there are classes listed under Telecommunication Systems management that outlined issues addressing the current application of that technology to business. When I attended my first class I was impressed that I was being instructed by a professor that was not only proficient in the subject but is also a current professional in the Federal Communications Commission. Talking about first hand and current, that's an understatement. By the time I was finished my first course I was not only proficient in the subject but I was able to apply my knowledge immediately to my job as a Project Manager. This positive experience lead me to taking other classes and each time I had only encouraging experiences with my professors. These experiences lead to my decision to get my Masters in Information & Telecommunications Systems Management.
Capitol College is not a school with a lot of flash which means you do not get a high powered name recognition when you walk out the door. But what you do get is substance, a superior education.

I'm currently enrolled in their Network Security Masters program. It is a 30 credit hour program, pursued online in the evenings. It's done using "Centra" which is kinda a powerpoint/streaming audio/chat room kinda thing. It works pretty well, the instructor can call on people, you can raise your hand and talk, and you can talk in the chat session. I completed the first summer session and got 2 A's. So far the readings and lectures have been pretty decent.

Capitol College really offers a quality education, since the topics discussed are relevant and most students are currently employed in the IT field, which makes the discussions good. Moreover, it is not a degree mill college. It is a real school and real credits, even if it could be harder than it is. The format of the courses is easy to fit into the schedule, and streaming Audio lecture and a set class time makes it more like a normal program, it doesn't feel like a correspondence program.
