Bryant & Stratton College is a proprietary college with campuses in New York, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. The college offers two-year programs at all campuses, four-year programs at select campuses and online Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees.
Bryant & Stratton College was founded in 1854 to provide practical workplace education, it evolved in an accredited degree-granting college. The College has a number of campuses in New York, Ohio, Virginia and Wisconsin. Moreover, several degrees are offered entirely through the Internet.
Academics
The Bryant & Stratton Online campus allows students to learn what they want, when they want. Online degree programs allow students to pursue their professional goals at home in their free time. The degrees offered completely online include the following degrees: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Criminal Justice, Human Resource Specialist, Medical Administrative Assistant, Paralegal Studies and two Bachelor’s degrees, namely Bachelor of Business Administration in General Management and Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
Online courses replicate campus classrooms by involving students in the learning process. However, in the virtual classroom, faculty members can present lectures, course materials, and tests on any personal computer with internet access. Participants of the online learning process will interact with each other and the instructor through online messaging and discussion groups.
All Bryant & Stratton online courses are delivered via web-based software TopClass. This software is popular and widely recognized and used in many distance learning programs. Student will not need to download anything because TopClass can be accessed via the Bryant & Stratton Website. Moreover, students will be equipped with messaging tools, discussion area access, coursework, announcements and testing. Courses are never "live" so there is no need to be on the computer at any given time.
