Bethel is a private, 4-year liberal arts college affiliated with the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. It was founded in 1842, and today provides the atmosphere to grow and learn both scholastically and spiritually, so that the graduates enter life after college with much more than a degree.

Bethel College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate degrees in 28 areas and masters degrees toward 4 graduate degrees.

The most popular programs offered at undergraduate level are Business Administration, Child Learning and Development, Music, Human Services, Psychology and Nursing. Furthermore, the college offers Graduate programs in Education, Physician Assistant Studies and an MBA program.

Financial Aid
More than 90 percent of Bethel students receive some sort of financial assistance including a number of institutionally sponsored scholarships and grants that can significantly help with tuition, fees, room and board.
The financial aid process includes three easy steps, which are (1) completion of an online application; (2) providing additional information if necessary, which is done on the request of Bethel College Financial Aid Office, and (3) receiving and accepting the Award Letter.
Student Life
Bethel offers more than 25 clubs, organizations, fraternities, and sororities in which students can participate. Bethel College is a member of the NAIA, TranSouth conference, and Mid-South conference (football) and offers the following athletics programs to its students: baseball, men's and women's basketball, cheerleading, men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's golf, men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's indoor and outdoor track and field, volleyball.
