Founded in 1917 as Central Bible Training School, Barclay College has since become a center for the training and preparation of pastors and missionaries. Today Barclay College is a private, Religious Society of Friends, four-year college.

Academics
Barclay College offers Certificates, Associate and Bachelor degrees in a variety of fields. Possible majors include: Youth Ministry, Pastoral Ministry, Music Ministry, Bible/Theology, Missions, Psychology and Family Studies, Bi-Vocational Missions, Christian School Elementary Education, and Business Administration.

In addition to courses offered on the Haviland campus, coursework is offered through a distance learning program. Thus students can pursue their degree completely online. Possible online degree options include:
•    Bachelor of Science in Psychology
•    Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry Leadership

Moreover, there is a 3:2 nursing program, which is offered through a partnership with Pratt Community College. Barclay College graduates have found acceptance into leading seminaries and graduate schools.

Accreditation
Barclay College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), which was formerly known as the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges (AABC). Today ABHE is an accrediting agency with national recognition from the US Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
