American Dietetic Association (ADA) |
The American Dietetic Association is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Association as a national accreditor of schools teaching the subject matter of nutrition and dietetics. CADE prides itself on making sure programs under its umbrella are both meeting its high standards and developing new strategies for improving dietetics education. Programs accredited by the American Dietetic Association are valued as places where people can go to become professionals by starting in entry-level positions and growing into expert practitioners. Beyond the training of school, CADE also governs over the continuing education of professionals in the field; overseeing what training professionals need and get after graduation. The goals of CADE include generating a system of accountability, where professionals can communicate and share in where they succeed and where they fall short. The commission also aims to churn the process of learning by encouraging continued education for entry-level and experienced professionals alike. |
