| The Online Bible College is a vibrant, innovative college with a long pedigree of quality training. Driven by a passion for the Lord Jesus Christ, by the vision of training and equipping millions of pastors and Christian workers around the world, and by the values of excellence, servanthood and integrity to God's Word, OBC has grown in 5 years to become a training institute acclaimed for its quality and effectiveness. The Online Bible College now has over 12,000 students in its English Campus, hailing from 131 nations. The Spanish Campus of the Online Bible College - also known as Colegio Bíblico Online - has over 1,500 students, and several other language campuses - Portuguese, Chinese and French - are in the works. The administration of the Online Bible College is spread between three international offices - the North American Headquarters in Yuba City, California; the South American Office in Montevideo, Uruguay; and the Australian Office in Newcastle, New South Wales. The Biblical Studies Course The Biblical Studies Course focuses on grounding the student in the Word of God, and training the student in how to communicate that Word effectively to others. The course is comprised of 200 lessons in 14 modules. Upon successful completion of the course, the student studying under the Accredited Study Plan will receive a Certificate of Biblical Studies and earn 40 credits. A student studying under the Free Study Plan will receive, at the end of the course, a Certificate of Completion. The Discovering Jesus Course The Discovering Jesus Course focuses on building a biblical understanding of the life, ministry and redemptive work of the Lord Jesus Christ. The course is comprised of 365 lessons, and is designed to be a "light study" course (each lesson can be studied in 30-45 minutes). Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion. In addition to this, if studying under the Accredited Study Plan, the student will earn 8 credits.
